Peter Darch and Ashley Sands both spoke at Cal State University Fullerton’s Why Things Matter Conference Program on March 8th. Darch presented “Ship Space and Database: The Co-shaping of Spatial Configurations Aboard Ocean Drilling Cruise Ships and Material Artifacts of Practice in Onshore Laboratories” during the ‘Materiality and Information’ session. Sands presented “Scientific Research Data: Volume, Infrastructure, and Management Expertise” during the ‘Materiality of the Internet’ session.
